Spatial variation patterns of vegetation and soil physicochemical properties of a typical inland riverscape on the Mongolian plateau

The spatial distribution and heterogeneity of soil vegetation, as the root maintenance ecosystem services in riparian zone, play a decisive role ecological functions riverscape. In this study, field survey wetland plant communities sampling were conducted both longitudinal lateral dimensions from perspective riverscape Ulgai River, typical inland river on Mongolian Plateau. diversity communities, physicochemical properties, correlations between them systematically analyzed. results showed that total 87 species belonging to 65 genera 24 families plants present, with Asteraceae, Poaceae, Cyperaceae main families. composition zone at different obvious patterns succession.
